A Rainy Wedding Day in the Mountains of Crested Butte CO.

On July 23, 2016, Kevin brought Brianna to the National Portrait Gallery, a neoclassical gem in the heart of Chinatown (only two blocks away from where they first met). Not only was it Brianna’s favorite museum, it was also the site of their law school graduation gala, and a location with many treasured memories for the two of them.

As they were walking through the museum, Kevin, who was a bit quieter than usual, recommended going to the archives section, a more remote part of the museum. After exhausting the exhibit, they returned to their favorite portrait of the bunch. Kevin knelt down and asked a question that was nearly four years in the making, and Brianna didn’t say “yes”… she said “of course!” To cap off the proposal, Kevin surprised Brianna with a reservation at their favorite restaurant, Plume. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

One year and two months later they were married in the rain and snow of Crested Butte’s very own mountain. Surrounded by friends, family and yellow leaves they were married at picturesque Ten Peaks with a fun-filled reception at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square’s ballroom.
